FAQs:

  • We sell our Angus beef by the side or whole based on hanging weight.

  • Hanging weight is the carcass without the head, hide, feet and organs. Hanging weight is typically 60-65% of the live weight.

  • A SIDE of beef is just as it sounds: 1/2 of the animal, to include its hind and front quarters. The hanging weight of a SIDE of beef is ~350 lbs.

  • When you purchase a WHOLE, you receive beef from the whole animal. The hanging weight is ~700lbs.

  • That’s up to you. You determine how and what cuts you want made from your SIDE or WHOLE. Not sure what to ask for? Give us a call. We can help!

  • Pricing is based on hanging weight at $7.00 per pound. This includes processing, vacuum packaging, and delivery of your pasture raised, hormone supplement free, Texas Angus beef.

  • Your beef is delivered frozen. A side of beef can feed a family of 5 for up to a year.

  • Many families choose to “go in” on a WHOLE or SIDE of beef together. Split the cost, split the cuts, and you’re all eating happier and healthier together.

  • There are times when we are able to fulfill orders of just a few cuts, rather than a SIDE or WHOLE. We are always happy to chat with you about what we have available.
